Why I haven't been dancing as much

I was surprised when I first read in Gustavo Benzecry Saba’s book “Embracing Tango” that “Milongas are big centers for people with emotional conflicts…” Normally, I do not get involved in other people’s drama (I am not a gossip, and quite frankly, I am just really not interested in other people’s *stuff*). But recently, this particular concept has been unveiled to me in abundant clarity. It make me not want to be around the entire tango community as much.

Unexpected. I enjoyed reading your posts for some time now and I will be really disappointed if you'll leave SF tango scene. Hope it's just rainy weather getting under your skin. :)

your entry adds argument to my preference for practicas and a good regular class, which luckily are abundant in the bay area. hang in there. attending too many milongas also tends to keep one's dancing stuck at the level of the community norm.

Do you really have to be exposed to those bad apples? If there are only few of them, they cannot be everywhere at ll times. Isn't it possible to avoid, or just ignore them?
Thanks for writing, btw. Your notes are great.
